Once upon a time there were lovers that decided to follow a dream and so they shall be called "The Dreamers". They set up in a small town far from home. In order to make their dream a reality, they had to hire employees from all over the land. They brought the employees to the new and distant land, gave them a fair rate of pay, and better housing then most had ever had in a previous job. The employees arrived and were treated with respect and allowed their personal freedom. They shall now be called "The Players". Friendships were quickly formed between the players and the dreamers and amongst the players themselves. Everyone seemed to get along beautifully. When it came time to get to work, several players found the work to be too hard and left the group. New players were found and the work continued. The Dreamers were pleased with their progress. Now, one of the dreamers had asked to have one of the players trained to be a substitute should she not be able to perform her work for some reason. She had had some medical problems earlier in the year and with a sick family member she thought it would be best to have a back-up plan. The other dreamer agreed and saw to it that sub was trained and on standby. The substitute was grateful for the opportunity and seemed very interested in the work and took great care to learn everything the dreamer did so should be called up to duty should would be ready. During one of the work days, the substitute was given the chance to perform all the duties of the dreamer to help her with her preparation. Little did the dreamer know that the player had been secretly putting together a posse of haters to rally around her and help her qualify her rumblings that she should take the place of the dreamer. For certainly she was younger and stronger than the dreamer and deserved it. The sub quickly found a few supporters...others that were hateful and spiteful of the dreamers. Why did this spite exist in the players that had been given the opportunity to do a job they loved with pay and benefits such as free housing? I really can't say. But I can say that once the job is complete, they will never be allowed to poison the dream again. The dreamers will also see to it, that they don't poison the lives of any other dreamers in the future. The moral of the story is that Karma is a bitch, kids. It will always come back to bite you in the ass. Maybe not right away...but it will come for you. Being a spiteful player will not help you in the long run.
Hello, faithful readers.
Welcome to my world. This is where I commit to tell it like it is. I am your storyteller. I've been working on a project with a few dozen people. These people (the spiteful players) will be my first subject. The first several posts may be a bit negative, so if this isn't for you...check back in a week. I need a place to vent.
I've been living in what can only be described as a compound for the last month or so. It sucks ass because I live with a bunch of little shits that I really can't stand. I shouldn't put all of them in this category, but most of them certainly need an attitude adjustment. On Monday, I get to be the one to give it to them. You see. I am their boss. They work for me and yet I think they have lost sight of who it is that brought them here and pays them for the work. They all think they are so fucking talented and wonderful that certainly I will hire them back. Wrong! So...so wrong. At this point, I don't care if they can all shit gold. Most of them will never see a paycheck with my company's name on it again. Let's get to it...shall we.
Attitude Queen: This is my least favorite of the group. Attitude Queen befriended me early on, led me to believe it was trustworthy and dedicated only to stab me in the back by speaking openly with such statements as "she doesn't know what she's doing" in reference to my skills. Really, Attitude Queen? I don't know what I'm doing? That's interesting. Who signs the checks and who doesn't know where it's next meal is coming from? That's right. Just because you can't seem to execute it doesn't mean I don't know what I'm doing. It just means you are not as fabulous as you think you are. Check yourself before you wreck yourself.
Tool Man: You are poison. You've really done a lot to rip the group apart. I hope the incessant complaining and rabble rousing was worth it. Karma, karma, karma, karma, karma chameleon. What was that? Oh, sorry. A song just popped in my head. Moving on.
Diva: You will never take my place, so focus your energy someplace else. Honey, I know you have a little poison posse in your corner telling you you should take my place. Keep on dreaming. It's never gonna happen. By the way...how is the weather in in in Northern North America?
Cheater: Listen, there is still hope for you. You have never been rude to me or the other dreamer. Don't let your association with the haters bring you down. Her pussy is not going to cut you a check next year, so pull out of this relationship while you can.
